House September 11th
Ripping out kitchen cabinets. the old and the new because we're getting new that all match and we'll use the other cabinets somewhere else... Laundry room?... little kitchen downstairs?.. I'm also showing in the picture that to the left of the microwave where you see the girly poster is where you used to go down to the basement. that has changed to the end of the wall. Now the kitchen will make sense with the fridge next to the stove and microwave. In the back yard you can't really see but there's alot of smoke from burning a bunch of lumber that had been there for years. Making big fires is fun, and we're saving a ton of money not having to put it in the dumpster. I would pick up one old piece of wood and there would be at least 4 more old boards 1/2 barried under the ground. old fence posts. they must of had cattle back there. I'm sure there's alot of stories with this 1920s house.
The basement wall is done. Straight. Now it finally feels like we can start! We still think it will take a month to get this all done. We've got good help now so that helps. We're thinking of a layout for the basement downstairs. Two bedrooms, bathroom, and big open area where you could put a pool table down there if you wanted.
